Hey all! I know that this has probably been asked 1001 times, but I couldn't find any threads where the trucks had the same mods as me. Plus I'm a little OCD haha....Anyway, I'm just curious as to what oil you guys n gals think would be the best for my 6.0, in regards to performance and engine longevity (OR what you would run if it were your truck). You can see the mod list in my signature.The truck is daily driven responsibly, except on the weekend where she does a couple of pulls, but that's it. The truck does make pretty decent power. Not really sure on numbers yet but it will definitely be well above 600whp according to my mechanic and Innovative. I'm currently running Rotella 15w-40. Is this ok with the power I'm making or should I switch to 5w-40 full syn? Excuse my ignorance...Even though I've owned/built a few cars, this is my first diesel. When I look at the engine bay it's like looking at the internals of a thermonuclear warhead haha. Also, new to the forums! Looking forward to meeting those who answer. Sorry if something about this post is wrong!

I run 15w40 Rotella with a Ginormous Racor bypass filter....im also pretty well bone stock for now.

 

I use the 5-40 Delo as well. I have to start in cold weather and can't plug in block heater. Truck runs great and 10 k. between oil changes. 270,000 miles stock original injectors. ( one rebuilt)
