Default 6.0L Oil Cooler!!

Ok I have a 2004 6.0L 250 Auto 4x4, 4" lift, cold air, 5" Magnaflow w/deleted Cat converter, and the Edge chipset.

EOT 40+ over ECT so the cooler is plugged I get it, and yes I have back flushed the system for hours and switched to cat coolant, no change :-(.

My Q is: Is bullet proof the best way to go to re-configure the oil cooling system and EGR ($2500 in parts alone)? Or is there another system out there that's just as good?

Thanks

Ivan, I have a 04 CC F-350 4x4 Auto.
I also had the same problem, I used the BP with factory oil cooler and deleted the EGR cooler, Kept the egr valve in place. This worked out awesomely. Just make sure you have a bypass oil filter also to keep the oil clean. I also used a coolant filter w/cat coolant. expect to spend about 2-4 days performing all of this. And make sure you measure several times before you cut the brackets on the trans cooler. Good Luck

Save the cash since the OEM cooler works great when using the CAT ELC.
