So this isnt the first time its happened but hasnt sone it in a while(few months or so). Drove it for about 1.5 hrs today no issues what so ever killed it got hair cut then started right back up just fine. Drove another ten minutes pulled into drive thru killed it and it would not crank back up tried and tried and tried to no avail. Let it sit for a couple hrs to cool off like last time and still no avail. Waited a few more hrs and it took it a few times and finally started. Any ideas.

 

Also had a guy come check it with a scanner dont know brand but it was bigger than i expected to see (size of a laptop) couldnt get the truck to run through fire cycle(injectors) only three to four clicks each time it did it. Fuel filters have been changed a few days ago. Had check engine light on for the longest time had three diff shops run the codes all came up with p0299 turbo underboost for undetermined amount of time turbo works just fine imo spins freely whistles and all that jazz. He was leaning towards hpop or injector oring. Im out of options at this point ive checked fuel filter caps and both have fuel pump works fine.

 

STC fitting been replaced recently??

 

Stc fitting? I do not believe it has been changed. But im not getting any codes to determine loss in oil pressure have had two diff scanners on it since the last post. Still getting 0299 turbo under boost. Only code seen on it since purchase. Prefer not to throw parts at it if i can get away with it.
