Default Popping on decelleration

I have an 04 f250 220,000 miles was bulletproofed at 176,000. 6-8 months ago it started popping and puffing little puffs of black smoke on decelleration mostly noticeable when using cruise on the highway. Truck pulls great and runs fine when accelerating. Idles perfect. I've been to ford dealer 3 times over the winter. 2 new injectors 8 new glow plugs and a new turbo. $2500 later popping worse than ever but pulls better than ever. They say there's nothing else they can do. They think I need a programmer because of the egr delete. Does this sound legit? Has anyone else had this problem? I'm tired of spending money on guessing

scan the code and post in here.

injector imbalance, wiring harness, bad sensor. these are 3 things you have to look for.

Just had an issue just like that and it was an injector sticking just a tad. When i took injector out and took it apart. The plunger would not slide smoothly up and down inside the barrel.I could rev the truck and on de acceleration it would puff a little tad of black smoke.
