So about 2 years ago I bought a theft recovery 2004 F250. It was a clean truck minus the whole drivetrain, front seats, cluster, and bezel. But it didnt matter because I only wanted the front clip to replace the one on my 2004 Dually that my son wrecked. Even though I bought it as a parts truck, I still received a blue title for it. No worries there for anyone wondering. I checked with the Houston Police Dept, and my DMV to make sure the truck was clean.

As time went on and I was in Afghanistan, my wife and son continued to tell me how much they liked the truck and wanted me to build it. So I bought a 2006 F350 frame with full drivetrain from another truck. Now fast forward two years, and Im back from Afghanistan and ready to work on the truck. This isnt my first Powerstroke, but I must admit that this transformation is way more than Ive done in the past with a Powerstroke. The process of moving the cab and bed over to the 2006 frame is easy and straight forward. My only question at this time is the harnesses. Ive searched all over Google, and havent found anyone quite doing this exact swap. At this time, both are not side by side of each other, so its a little difficult seeing what will and wont work. My friend sent me pics of the harness from the frame truck. Looks like the injector harness and pcm harness is a match. The trans/drivetrain looks like it might, but not too sure.

So I guess here's my question. I know that 06 uses a different engine harness than the 04 because of rerouting and relocation of a couple things. But is there any difference in the plugs from engine to body? How about on the trans/fuel harness? Its perfectly intact on the 2006, so will it plug in fine on the 2004 body harness..plug and play?
