Default Helpp!!!!

Hi, a couple of days ago my truck started to idle like a injector had gone bad. Today I ran the snap on ethos scan tool and did all my checks. It had memory codes and I have them. I deleted them on the scan tool and started my KOER test and no codes came up. Everything seemed to be running good until I was on my way to work and the old girl started to shake and miss bad. The ficm is new, I drained the water seperater and a little brown came out, then clear diesel fuel. The truck is a 2003 6.0 and has138000 miles on it. Please help. Need assistance. Thanks nick.

KOER tests will not bring up any codes if you have the codes to share that will make Diag alot simpler than trying to fiqure out what the truck saw what was wrong with it rather than us try to fiqure it out for ourselves. If its got a miss you need to find which injector is missing and proceed to find out why it is missing, it can be a bad wire in the harness, or looses connection on the injector or even the injector its self. If it was the ficm a whole side would be missing or it would not even start. Cant turn wrenches from this side of the screen so give us any DTC's you have and if you erased them drive it till they come back on.. Dont erase codes until you have solved the issue.

Your trouble codes should be stored in the trucks memory, just have to access memory to retrieve codes!

2003 Ford F350 6.0 L 125,000 km
My 10 years search for this problem came to an end today.
Jerking, smoking, dumping turbo boost, crazy engine adjustment sounds, bucking, farting, exhaust in traffic at the stop lights, and swearing. No codes and and the odd misfire in the memory.
The WIRES to the MAF plug - in ( 2 of them ) have been the weak link for many years of intermittent turbo boost spiking and no DTcode read outs. Very frustrating to get so many professional opinions and spend so much money on just the very wires that have been in hand countless times. Good Ford color coded insulation held assumptions to healthy wire inside for many episodes. I pulled on the biotches individually and low and behold 2 of them finally stretched ever so slightly. Soldered and shrink tubed the two wires and put the many "sleepless" nights to rest. Everything about the whole Diesel engine and Ford F350 is new. My tuner works flawlessly once again as well. Hope this helps some of us I have photos.
