04 6.0 egr delete oil cooler head studs sct with innovative tunes 190/100 warren injectors 58v ficm 4" exhaust I got on it pulling outta the gas station 3/4 throttle and just stalled at 65mph and wouldn't start back up what do I look into first?

 

Check the ipr and see if the screen is pushed in or missing. Many times with oil cooler jobs come ipr trouble, any debris that got into the high pressure oil intake will get caught in the ipr. Get something that will check live data and watch icp and Ipr while cranking. If the ipr goes to 85 % and the icp is below 500 psi, this points to either a leak, ipr, hpop, icp sensor or base oil trouble.

 

if you don't have scanner make you a fitting out of an old icp sensor then put about a 6 to 8" extension and screw a gauge in.but before you do that check for base oil pressure it should fill in 10-15 seconds if you have base oil pressure proceed.


spin truck over if it's just you turn key on go out under hood passenger side and disconnect the excite wire"will be close to the ac.take wire touch it to hot post and spin truck.if you have pressure but not enough to start truck i would do an air test.you would take the gauge out and add an air chuck.you then un plug the ipr behind and below turbo and use a jumper and run two wires out to battery.this closes the ipr completely then apply air and listen for leaks under the valve covers.
