Got run off the road by a drunk driver today hit the ditch hard took out a few signs truck never shut off let it idle while I waited for cops. Ran fine drive it out of the ditch took some effort and drove it hard used the power I have now it runs like crap feels like a miss and when I throttle it I has a sputter. Power is still there but something's definitely not right. What's your thoughts guys need a hand here my baby is hurting bad


Good note the drunk driver was caught and lots and lots charges are pending causing an accident leaving the scene utter death threats DUI no insurance the list goes on too bad Iam the one out now ....

 

Do you think you shook up some dirt from bottom of fuel tank?

 

On further investigation looks like the tank took a big hit was up on the flat bed I seen a huge dent in the skid plate prolly snapped off the pickup on the sending unit and it's floating around then occasionally sucking to the side of the tank cos when u drive it and let off the throttle when it's sputtering it clams down still have a nasty vibration. But insurance adjuster will be going over it soon they appraised the whole truck at under 50 grand with the mods and km on it they ball park figured damages at around 10 g so it won't be written off thank god

 

Cool glad you found problem and wasn't too badly damaged! May be good time to get aftermarket tank!

 

Oh my truck was damaged over 10 grand in body damage front bumper grill both drivers doors drivers box nerf bars and I can't upgrade my tank unless insurance allows it sucks but all good - even snapped the chains holding in a full 99 gallon slip tank which hit my tail gate and bowed that out ill post some pics
