Default Snow coming! Best tire placement?

We finally got us a good bit of snow comin in NC. I have 2 pretty worn tires and two in pretty good shape. My question is how should they be mounted on my truck for best traction in 4x4. Both on front? One on front one on back same side? Diagonal? Or ? Kindof of a dumb question but I'm sure some of you see snow all winter long and just know by experience.

Thanks in advance

I would put the better ones on the back then also drop your pressure down to about 50psi but remember to air them back up once the roads are cleared up because it will give a mushy ride.
