Default Oil everywhere!

Ok so I replaced turbo with powermax turbo cause it was running like crap and spitting oil. Updated the feed and drain tube. Smoked bad for a couple days then acted like it was clearing up. Put a muffler on cause it was really loud. Then had to adjust exhaust so it would stop rubbing. Now it's smokin like crazy again. Still looks like it's leaking at the exhaust side of turbo, down side of block and where I have the band clamps to connect the straight pipe where cat used to be. Looked inside intake and it's all wet and black. Egr is deleted. Truck seems to be running fine now but it's smoking so much and stinks so bad I'm afraid to drive it. What the heck else could be causing all the oil? I have no check engine light on. Need help!

your intercooler was probably filled with oil from the bad turbo, did you pull it and run some simple green and hot water through it? remember there is a lot of area below the cooler tubes that can get filled with oil and will get pushed through when the boost starts getting up there.

Didn't even think of that! That's prolly it. Looks like a pain in the **** to get that inter cooler out. Running it the way it is for now prolly bad for the turbo isn't it? Gonna park it and do a clean up.

taking the cooler out isn't too bad, you have to remove the CAC tubes, the rubber cover over the front that is where you normally put your tools, then remove the upper support-4 bolts on each side and then it is possible to get the cooler out without removing radiator

Cleaned out the intercooler and the pipes. Still smoking like crazy. When I drove it today it smoked a lot more on deceleration than at speed. As soon as I would throttle it would blow a lot of smoke and then clear up. It's also smoking under the hood where the downpipe and turbo connect. I'm not positive yet but I think my oil level is going down. What the heck else could be causing my engine to be consuming oil?

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Read on a different site that a guy had the same issue with his Garrett p-max stage 1. He rebuilt his stock one and then no longer smoked. Think my new turbo might be a piece of junk!? Really just about ready to set this truck on fire!

My brand new powermax turbo! This one leaks more oil than the one I replaced. Almost acted like it didn't even have a seal.

Think im going to have a fight with the company? I sent them pictures on saturday and I should hear from them today. Place I ordered the actual turbo from has been great, just heard bad things about dealing with Garrett. Im getting a rebuild kit for my stock turbo ordered today.

Now that I have got my money back and it's secure in my account I feel that it is necessary to post this email I received during this. The place I bought the turbo from was awesome, Garrett not so much! I deleted their names in the email.

I can't send the customer any internal Garrett information. This must be done by ?!@&$. Attached is the Garrett warranty form. Please fill out all the appropriate fields. Garrett will not accept incomplete applications.

Again I must inform you so that you can inform your customer. This is a VERY long process. Your customer will be waiting at least 2-3 months or more until we hear back from Garrett with a yes or no. And after all the waiting, 99% of the time the warranty is denied due to user installation error. As you already know Garrett turbos usually don't fail and that's why OEM manufacturers use Garrett on their production vehicles. This can easily turn into a 3 to 6 month process. I have seen it happen before and there is nothing your customer can do about it. This warranty process is out of ?! and ?!$&@ hands.

Thought that sounded pretty cocky of Garrett. I rebuilt my old turbo and I haven't had any trouble since. So installation error my Friggin butt!
