Default Question if I change to Warn Hubs.

If I buy the warn manual locking hubs, how would I work everything to engage the 4x4? I have the switch in the truck, not the floor lever. Would I have to get out and lock them then turn the switch to 4x4 high to be in 4x4 high? Or would just turning the hubs to lock engage the 4x4 with leaving the switch on 2wd? Also how would I go about the 4x4 Low?

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

This sounds like a dumb question but I just wanna be safe than sorry and end up tearing up my front end and/or transfer case

you will have to lock them any time you want 4x4, and also flip the switch to activate the transfer case. you could leave the hubs locked but mileage would realy suffer

if i leave the hubs locked all the time, would it hurt anything in the axle or cause any extra wear and tear?

The axles will be turning all the way to the transfer case. So consider changing fluids in the front axle at the end of the season.
