06 F350 6.0 Won't Stay Running
Hi Guys, I'm new here, my name is Brandon with a 6.0 Powerstroke. I have 193,000 miles on it and just drove it from IL to FL for Christmas 13'. I parked it, slept a few hours and woke up to move the truck to find that it will start up but won't stay running. I replaced the alternator this summer and in the fall replaced the fuel filter. The battery light is on however it doesn't seem to have battery issue as it acts normal as far as interior lights. I did run a inverter the entire trip down to power all the kiddos and my accessories. Any ideas what this could be? Bad fuel? Battery?

6.0 Update
Hey Guys, Merry Christmas! Quick update, yesterday I spent few hours messing with the check checking fuses and filters. I had to put a battery charger on the vehicle to keep it on life support and never managed to get it to fire up again. I checked the engine mounted fuel filter thinking I caught some bad fuel however it looked fine generally speaking. I also loosened the allen key water bleeder on the frame mounted fuel filter.
Any thoughts of what I could try next?

Check ficm voltage, there is sticky at top of page. Also check fuel pressure and make sure you have oil pressure. Sometimes we overlook obvious, have you checked oil ? Also how was inverter wired in? You are not tapping off an existing control wire or power to fuel pump or?????? I had issue where trailer brake wiring on 96 f250 with 7.3 was feeding back enough to shut down factory electric pump if you stepped on brakes with loaded trailer! A piece of wire loom and no more issues!
