Default 2005 powerstroke good or bad deal??

Ive been lookin around for a new diesel truck and im gonna stick with the psd. Ive been lookin on craigslist and i found a 2005 f250 with the 6.0 with 90k. The guys sellin it for $4k because it shuts off when hot and ive done some research and it seems to be the STC fitting. I found a replacement part for $60 and most guys said it wouldnt take too long to install and snt that hard. Is it worth it or no??
Thanks

I would say hell yes. But while your doing, I'd recommend oil cooler, egr delete, and the ipr valve while your in it. And blue spring it. For a total of around 5 thousand you'll have a great truck
