I just bought my first 6.0L diesel. I am searching for a good performance tuner. What is everybody using? I am looking for fuel mileage and bad *** performance. And I would also like to roll coal all over people. Definitely want to tune on the fly.

You are setting up for failure if you don't have big deep pockets! ! ! Rolling coal looks cool once or twice. The truth is, its just unburnt fuel, wasted . Not to mention the freedom we enjoy modifying our trucks gets jeapoardized every tima a hoyty toyty is offended. Unless you delete egr properly and head studs, don't get too hot of a tuner. You will blow head gaskets and . . . There are many posts on this site about setting your truck up to be quicker and reliable and fun! Sct seems to be most common and there are few companies writing good tunes for it! Read some past posts from the guys here who have learned the hard way and are generous enough to share their knowledge with us!

You need to buy a Quadzilla module, Banks PDA kit and a Predator tuner. Best setup to roal coll.

Thanks for the input. I have looked into the sct tuner and like what I see. A couple questions I can't find the answer to are can I tune on the go with it or do I need to be home and can I use any custom tune?

The sct uses stored tunes, you have to stop to change. I would be leery of tuning on the fly since u are changing operating parameters of an active computer while driving.
