Default HFCM nightmare!

Okay, from the beginning.....A few days ago I was getting a water in fuel display on my 07 f250 6.0(go figure). I drained the hfcm and crank it back up and almost immediately get the same message again and again and again.... I decided to dive deeper into the pit know as 6.0 and bought fuel filters and to no avail still getting the water in fuel display. take the cover off the hfcm and spray all the gunk out with carb cleaner, go to reinstalling it and it wont fire up! its turning over hard(or it was while my batteries was charged). pop the fuel lines off the hfcm and see its not pumping fuel out towards the secondary filter so I install a new fuel pump inside the hfcm module...its def pumping fuel outbound now(took a bath) but the secondary filter resvoir still isn't getting any fuel.??? I believe its more than your standard air bubble. Been trying to crank it for about 5 hours. soaked a rag in fuel and stuck it in the air intake still no go......thoughts?......tips?

Sounds like you have a clogged line. When u blew out the gunk did some get in the line? If its pumping it has to go to fuel bowl thru line.

I thought the same thing and pushed a weed eater string up it a good 4-5 feet with no resistance.... and its literally getting 0 fuel to the upper bowl.

I went with an airdog II on mine when they were popular so I didn't open my pump but I'm wondering if your regulator is stuck open and allowing your fuel to go back to tank. Have you checked regulator on side of fuel filter hsng.? And pump needs to overcome pushing up tube, maybe you got a defective replacement pump? Defective replacement parts house parts are getting common.
