Powerstoke Stress!!
First time posting so here it goes, I own a 05 F350 6.0 and now it giving me alot of problems. It began with it quitting on me while turning off to my place, I noticed an knock with white smoke, so I replaced the oil cooler (new gaskets) and deleted the egr...I start the truck and the knock is still there so I went and replaced all 8 injectors (reman) and now I having start up issues..Itll start just fine while its cold but once it warms up, it wont start and Im trying to figure out if its my icp or ipr valve...I tested the ficm and its right around 48 plus and 47.8 while cranking...the batteries are fine, i had to recharge them before i started it after installing the injectors...I really dont have any scanners to test my icp or ipr valve, Im 3 hrs from the nearest Ford dealer.... The truck has no power also... Question? Does the needle on the dash for the turbo psi suppose to move when I throttle it while in park? Please assist, Im ready to burn this junk international (prized) engine!!! But i NEED my truck to pull my trailer...

Did you do any checks before you started throwing money at it?
Check the blue rubber "boots" that connect your metal intercooler tubes from the turbo. On my 06 F350 the one on the bottom right split on the bottom of the tube. The boost gauge did not move - the truck had no power, run like crap and it smoked.
If that happens to be the problem or one of the problems when you replace the rubber boot you should also plan on replacing the clamp that holds it in place. When you tighten the clamp the nuts require low torque - I believe it is 5 ft lbs

I went and took off the turbo, cleaned it again, and went and removed the ipr valve and seemed fine, the screen wasnt torn but the orings on them looked worn...So today Im ordering the updated hpop kit...Heres another (maybe a stupid0 question? Do I have to replace the "dummy plugs on the fuel/oil rail with same type?? Also the wiring pigtail to my turbo actuator is exposed right at the connector on top of the turbo...Where can I purchase a pigtail online??
