Late 04 F350. Turned truck off - will not restart.
Posted this on another forum and still can't find the answer. Late build (12/13/2003) 04 350, look in sig.
Drove the truck 30 miles to pick up some home goods. Turned truck off at pick up gate to talk to the voice box. Truck started right up 30 seconds later. Drove 150ft and parked and turned truck off. Truck was off maybe 10mins, Truck would not start. had to have it towed home. Would not restart while cold. Let it sit over night, still won't start. Torque for android is reading below.
ICP 0 - 200psi while cranking. Now it will not go above 0psi.
IPR 15% jumps to 85% while cranking
Ficm does not drop below 47v
RPM 150
At first I was getting 200ish psi from the ICP but then it dropped and I am not getting anything. I check the IPR screen, looks fine other than pushed in the cover plate. I tired un plugging the ICP and starting. No start. Air pressured test through ICP with 150PSI air, no air leaks heard through valve covers but here slight hissing under cover. IPR is opening and closing tight with 12v. Pulled cover and I do not see any bad orings. Discharge tube feels a little loose where is connects to the branch tubes. Any other thoughts? I know it is HPOP issue but can't not find a leak and do not want to drop $800 on a new pump if it is not bad.

Also, there were no symptoms before this happen. Truck ran perfect until it wouldn't restart.

Update:
Good news and possibly bad news.
I got the discharge line off. Found a Ford hydralic line removal tool at O'reillys. Pressurize the branch tube with 150psi. Held pressure and didn't hear any leaks under the vavle covers. Now doesn't mean there isn't a leak. Might not be present until 300psi, who knows. But since I went from 200psi to 0psi at the ICP, I am going to call that test passed! I would assume a fairly large leak to have no pressure at all. So now I know it is not the branch tubes, stand pipes, dummy plugs or injector seals. So that leaves the o-ring on the discharge tube, looks good, the pump and the IPR valve. I have determined the valve operates with 12v to it and that the spring has pressure and there is nothing in it. After investigating the discharge tube and oil coming out of the pump, I am noticing metal glitter. Looks like brass. I am going to put the cover back on the hpop and re-pressurize the system after replacing some orings and see if I can hear any air coming from the oil filter area or turbo drain to rule out the pump. I am betting it is the pump. Especially since this happened out of the blue and I have no start hot or cold and 0 PSI at the ICP. Any thoughts?

Can u get an oil pressure gauge on the test port? . . I'm thinking oil pump too but knowing if you have oil pressure in the engine and the high pressure pump is important. If the engine doesn't supply oil to the high pressure pump you will still have a problem. It's very rare to have low pressure pump issues but not impossible

I got lpo oil. Filter tube fills with oil within 10secs while cranking. Ruled that out shortly after starting to diagnose the system. Should of posted it. The gear turns smoothly with slight resistance and I can here it gurgling when I turn it and can felt slight suction and pressure on it. The gear has play front to back as well. Also heard gurgling from the oil filter assembly if I pressurize directly on the pump. I went ahead and ordered a new hpop from tousley and hopefully will have it early next week.

I had 03 do same thing icp and ipr replaced less than 1000km thought hpop but after changing pump and oil cooler because I was all ready there still no start changed ipr fired right away would try ipr first a lot cheaper and a lot of time saved if not should change ipr if u change hpop because parts from pump most likely went throw it and not working proper even if it looks like it is
