Default runs fine when hot, shakes when cold

As the title sais, when its cold it runs like trash. It runs like its missing a couple cylinders. When it gets up to normal operating temps it runs like a champ but still has a minimal shake at idle.

I just did stand pipes and dummy plugs. Thats when the shaking started but it did would shake all the time after I did plugs n pipesnot sure whats going on here

Sounds like stiction, but there are alot of things that can do that.

Buy 2 bottles of rev x and put them in on your next oil change its a cheap fix for stiction problems

I had the same issue, stiction issue with my injectors. Added REV-X... worked good one random day not worth 60 dollars IMO. REV-X is actually just a zinc additive for lubricity, theres cheaper and more concentraded products on the market. Save yourself and just buy an injector. If its on the driverside you can do have it done in 2 hours easy. Note: Ford motorcraft injectors are the only injectors that actually replace the spool valve which causes the stiction issue if i'm correct so spend the extra couple bucks for some piece of mind.

Well. . . Rev x doesn't solve any shot parts but if you just have stiction, it works great! . . I have become a believer after it cleared up the morning chatter on way to warmup. I'm guessing DirtyDiesel had a bigger issue which had to be addressed but if you want to try a band aid to your stiction issue, it does work.

I just went to a local 6.0 shop and pulled an injector out of a spare motor he had, $100 later and kept my old one, the drivers side injector bank runs great. Lost cyl 2 last night though.. Rev-x is a good product though save yourself some time and try it or if you can get a good deal on an injector I'd opt for that because in the end stiction is the sign of a bad injector.
