My easy fix for codes P0046 and P2262. Thanks!
I just wanted to say thanks for this website. I was able to diagnose, find and fix my problem with my 2005 6.0. I found some posts on here from November of 2012 from jjpower04. His issues with his truck were identical to mine. I followed the advice you gave to him for diagnosing/troubleshooting his problems. My issues were intermittent turbo problems. It would work, not work and work again, cutting in and out going down the road. I had codes POO46 and P2262 like he did. Here's what I found on my truck following your advice to him.
I found a huge animal nest under my turbo. At first I thought it was mice but not so sure as I also found pieces of acorns around the nest. I began tracing the wiring from the turbo actuator and didn't get very far before finding that both the wires had bare spots in them and were touching/laying against the pipe from my charge air cooler. THus the code POO46 for the grounded/short/open circuit. I repaired both wires and my problem is GONE! What a simple fix that saved me tons of money over taking it to the dealer. THANKS!
