6.0 rough idle on cold start
Hey everyone I'm new to these posts. I bought a 03 f250 6.0 from a buddy's dad about 2 months ago and it ran awesome until about a week ago.I'd start it up in the morning and go to work and it'd run like **** until it got up to operating temp. It stared getting worse and worse since it began. Now if it sits over night and I go to start it in the morning, it will fire up and kill. So then I turn it over again and it'll stay running but it sounds like its misfiring. Once it sits and idles then it starts to sound better but when I take off it runs rough and loses power for the first 2 or 3 miles then it runs fine. I've been reading around and have seen many different things that it could be. I just tested the FICM today and it came out to have 48V with the key in the on position and it had 45-46V when it was running. Any help would be awesome as far as what you guys think and what I should do

I guess the best thing you can do it have a mechanic scan the truck!
Here is a good video about the Hpop and it shows you the scanned data and what to look for, all in all. I would start pursuing the hpob since the revised parts seem to be almost mandatory.

I just did an oil change 200 miles ago. Is it too late to add it or can I just add it now?
