Default CD Player Error

My CD player is messing up and I have no idea why. If I try to switch to the CD Player it says "No CD", if I press eject it says "CD ERROR", and if I press load it does not respond or have a message. It currently has all six CD slots loaded. I already checked all of the fuses and none were blown. I am also having issues with the display on my roof shutting off and not coming on right away, it sometimes takes about 5-7 presses of the mode button and then waiting about 10-15 seconds until it turns on. Nothing happened that I can recall to initiate this problem. If anyone has ANY ideas I definitely welcome it, I just would rather save the money and not have to take it in. I am sure all in this forum can understand that. Thanks in advance.

i had the same problem with my stock radio when i got my truck took it to a dealer and he told me that it was some thing internal with the radio and that the only thing to do is replace it with a new oem or after market. take this as an oppurtunity to upgrade your radio and put some thing nice in or if you a cheep skate ( no offense ment by that) just buy a stnadard radio form advance for 60 buck and put it in there
