Default I need help. PLEASE!

I have an 04 f350 6.0 L and I have 89700 miles on it. It ran fine before the egr delete i just installed except the egr cooler was leaking and it smoked when it was cold and stopped once it was warmed up. Now it's a little rough at idle and plenty of power once the turbo is spooled up. What must be wrong now. PLEASE HELP

Is there an additive I should be using to clean this up?

No codes...it was fine yesterday before delete. I left the egr in it so I wouldn't get a check engine light.

Have you tested the FICM? Instructions can be found here

Do you have any way to view ICP and ICPD? Fuel Pressure and VGT%?

Test your FICM and post your results.

Good Luck!

Thank you. Is it a bad idea to leave the original egr valve installed?

leaving the valve in is fine. It's up to the owner. It doesn't cause any problems to my knowledge.

make sure the MAP sensor hose is connected to the intake manifold, ALOT of times that gets left off and it won't run right. it is a small rubber hose with wireloom protector on it and it goes from the intake right behind th alternator is the brass fitting and it goes to the MAP sensor that is right near /above the oil fill tube.
