flush it before you change coolers. And get a coolant filtration system, 150$ and will save you a lot in the long run

I'll be installing all my parts near the end of april. EGR delete, oil cooler, coolant filtration kit, blue spring and FICM.

 

alrighty got it. yeah i seen that and was curious about it and buying it figured it would save some $$$$ in the long run

Thats whats up, its worth it ive done everything but the oil cooler now and then it should be bulletproof after all the money in the dam thing

After having owned 2 of them, I can say that there are serious design flaws with the motor. Yes they can probably be addressed if you throw enough money at it, but the bettter option would be do a Cummins conversion. The best motor in the best truck. End of story.

 

yeah no joke, i plan on de-stroking it and putting a cummins in it after i get out the army new job gonna be driving back and forth to rail yard/oil fields so miles gonna go way up
