Default Blue spring kit

I am getting ready to do the EGR delete, Oil cooler upgrade, coolant filtration kit. Is it worth my time and money to do the blue spring fuel pressure upgrade? How do I get to this part. Is it an easy fix? I also am sending my FICM to ED to get it programed for the Atlas tune. My FICM is 2 years old per the previous owner so I don't need it repaired. I plan on doing all of these upgrades next month & I"m just planing ahead.

So far, Step bars, back up camera and some other small things have been done.

Thanks for the help everyone

Just an FYI, even new FICMs should be repaired before they fail, it is good preventive maintinance to do it while the truck is down, the solder used sucks and very little is used so a good repair will prevent it from failing in the future. The Blue Spring upgrade is a must, low fuel pressure can destroy injectors, Ford/International, figured that out so that is why they came out with the blue spring to keep pressure up to about 60-65psi, with the old stock spring people were seeing 40-50 psi, and it is known that anything below 50 can start to damag the injectors because the plunger can make contact with the tip.

So what was the original fuel pressure supposed to be, i have my warranty slip here for work ford did about 10k miles ago. They found the fuel pressure to be 42 replaced the fpr and tested at 47 psi full flow and passed. You'd think they would have put the upgrade regulator in there per tsb or something to save their *** from more headaches ie fuel injector issues. Guess i better look for blue spring upgrade

Here you go this is a good post by Band_ Member on the fuel pressure reg spring install. Just remember 99% of the 6.0 running around have low fuel pressure and don't know it.
Fuel pressure under 45lbs at WOT kills injectors. Mine was 50 at idle and 44 at WOT after the Blue spring 62-64 at idle and 58 at WOT.

You can see a test port in the top pic 57 Test Port, this is how you check the pressure and it takes a special fitting
