Default HELP!! Whistle from hell with video.

I have an exhaust leak. Fact. I currently have no idea where it could be coming from. I went to Ford today and bought a new v-band clamp for the turbo/up-pipe and sprayed maybe 6 coats of copper gasket sealer on the inside prior to installing. The old clamp was definitely leaking and the whole engine bay is painted YELLOW. New clamp is on great and tight.

Truck makes a horrific high pitch noise when driving. I know it has something to do with the turbo because I turned my VGT solenoid on and off while driving. The noise was there and then it wasnt. I dont know if the uppipe is cracked or my turbo is about to hand grenade at this point. There is a little oil in the turbo nothing crazy though and minimal shaft play. Im lost and about to park this thingor burn it down. Anything to help would be greatly appreciated.

VIDEO link of my truck.

Check for cracks in up pipe on driver side around the bellows, you might can see soot on the firewall and around the bellows if its leaking there, also check your intercooler pipe boots, especially the the 45* at the turbo outlet.

First start of the day get under the truck and check each connection for leaks. You can reach around the transmission and feel the exhaust passing. It will take a few minutes to get warm so don't worry.

that sure sounds like a cracked plastic intercooler pipe on drivers side, you might see some oil spray under the battery or even on the ground. almost impossible to feel it by hand without the truck making boost. if it is that you can get a metal replacement tube but you will have to look around for one, they came on 03 and early 04 trucks.

I checked the intercooler piping it looks fine and as for the early 6.0's you can just get that part straight from ford for about $120. I'll have to post a picture of the engine as you you will all see, everything is yellow. Im almost positive its coming from the v-band clamp on the y-pipe. I broke down and brought it to a shop that only does 6.0's he said i probably have a crack in the flex pipe on the bellows and the turbo might be blown as well.

Just through the P0299 code. Truck boosts about 10 seconds later when floored. Sticky vanes or something I assume but the noise tells me it's about to crack in half.
