Welcome! I"m about to purcashe a 6L this weekend. And also about to purchase and install the EGR delete, oil cooler and coolant filter system. And the list of wants and needs continues to grow

Ozz, nice reply, I have owned a 2000 7.3, a 2001 7.3, a 2004 6.0, and currently a 2005 6.0. I loved the 7.3 and miss one of them but after owning my first 6.0 I keep going back. Tow command is a must if you tow you'll love it! My first 6.0 i had head gaskets go out but i also had it chipped.. my bad. 2nd 6.0 i got under warranty and had ford go threw it all on last day of warranty after previous problems. Not a motor to give up in and the best part is you can now buy the kits to make them bullet proof like the 7.3 only difference is more mpg and you can get them cheap with the bad rap!

EGR delete a must right away lowers that egt by 150 degrees save the head bolts and make em last, doing that myself now bought a kit from little power shop with the up pipe and hose vs the sinister kit

What egr delete is best? I figure, oil cooler, EGR delete and coolant filter, then possibley a programer to get 50 more hp...then FICM repair. I found an 04 with 144K mi for 12.5K with clean oasis and car fax.

I bought the kit from little power shop, just got it in the mail it has a hose in the kit vs. the welded j-tube. I like the looks of it, and the new up pipe looks like high quality workmanship as well. There's a lot of different kits out there i like the way this one is designed, my 2 cents
