6.0 slightly rough idle and no power
OK guys im new here but ill do my best to get you all the info
I have a 2005 F250 6.0 the only mods that have been done are taking out the muffler and Cat along with running a SCT Livewire tuner. This truck is an everyday drive and gets its share of heavy pulling once or twice a month
The problem started out kind of intermitently it would idle rough then and once it warmed up it would loose power but still had enough to pull fair nothing like it should though. I jumped in the other day let it warm up and hooked up to a trailer took off and everything seemed fine then it just started loosing power and then died. After that i just had no power at all the batteries were getting weak from the cranking and I pulled codes off my tuner each time it died and it was always a different injector code.I believe it was becasue my batteries were getting weak. I put new batteries in a few weeks later and it started righ up still idled slightly rough but managed to get it to a buddies shop 15 miles away just didn't have much power. Checked the FICM read 48.5 volts on all tests. Pulled the EGR it had some black goey soot on it im tearing into it to put a EGR delete kit in im seeing a lot of oil on the top side of the motor. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
sorry i was so long winded
