This might be a stupid question but if I have a burned out glow plug or two (or 6) will it throw a code? I have a SCT Livewire TS with custom tunes. Foe some reason I don't remember ever reading anyone mentioning a glow plug code. I have pondered changing them all just for good measure but I hate throwing money away.

Also if anyone has any tips on the easiest way to check if they are good or not I would appreciate the info.

 

Normally you will get a code, the GP module monitors the current of each glow plug, when one is not drawing enough current it will set a code for that plug, pretty sure you can do a resistence test on them to see if they are good but I don't know what the readings are suposed to be.
