Since you had the KAM error P0603 I would take the tuner off and put it to stock before you start tearing it apart. I know the AC does have a part in the KAM Learning strategy so i would try that first.

update... the AC compressor was the issue. can anyone tell me why this happens? thanks for all your help.

the heat from the clutch thins the bearing grease till it is all gone, then it doesen't take too long for it to start seizing up.
