The BIG difference between lifted trucks for gassers and diesels is that believe it or not a lifted gas truck will basically crumble the fuel economy. Experience: my old truck was a 04 f250 gasser 5.4, the truck was getting 14mpg highway stock i put a 6in lift on it and put 35s on it and it went to 8MPG i was pissed! didnt think it would drop THAT much so i said **** it....sold that went and bought a diesel pre lifted so i didnt have to pay for that again and with the same 35in tires i am currently getting an AVERAGE with math at the pump of 16MPG DOUBLES my gasser in mileage. with the FICM tune and Innovative tunes with the SCT livewire that really helped. Of course they arent getting as good MPG than they would stock but ive heard from plenty of people around here im getting better economy than 6leakers that are stock! of course they dont have a tune and are following emission laws haha! sucks for them! I'd say if it werent leakin grab it but be VERY VERY OCD when looking for a used 6leaker look for studs! and another upgrades

Easiest way is if they capped off the EGR valve itself, which means they took it out and put almost an oval cover on it. Sometimes people do leave it plugged in so you dont have to deal with some Diag codes but once you get a good tuner that will take care of the check engine light problem. I'd say thats the simplest way.
