B20 biodiesel

Nothing, put it in and enjoy. You should understand that bio diesel is a GREAT cleaning agent... so it will likely be cleaning your fuel system out, albeit starting with B20 is a good jumping off point. Keep an eye on your fuel filters as you start using it. Guys who typically go from diesel right to B100 will clog fuel filters in under 1000 miles. It is always recommended to start low and work your way up, but with B20 I wouldn't expect any immediate cleansing, just keep it in mind and keep a spare set of fuel filters on hand.
Interested to see how you like it. I run a vegistroke on my truck, so I start and shut down on diesel, but other than that it's on 100% WVO. She loves the high cholesterol diet.

Oh cool thanks. I saw that your not supposed to run more than b5 in the 6.0 and my dad has 12 Mack dumptrucks and his buddy ran b15 I think and it ruined all the fuel lines in his trucks so I didn't want to mess it up. Bu I have to do an oil and fuel filter change in about a thousand miles so I'll change it. But I'll be sure to check it periodically. Thanks again. Are there any fuel mileage differences or power differences on biodiesel?

Technically speaking most of the bio fuels have less BTU's than diesel, so the potential power is slightly less (nothing you'll notice), but it's also very lubricative so it almost counter acts it. At B20, I doubt you'll notice a difference, maybe run a hair quieter.
As for only being able to run B5...that's just what Ford says for warranty purposes, and with good reason, there's so many ways to make bio wrong that they just dont' want to be held responsible for some backwoods homebrew bio project you know? I know guys who run B99 and B100 in their 6.0s without issues. Just be cautious using too much in the cold weather, it gels WAY easier than diesel.
I would start using the stuff now and change your filters in 1000 miles anyways, that will be a perfect time to inspect them and hopefully after 1000 miles with B20 you've cleaned some stuff out already.

Thanks for the information. That helps a lot. And makes a lot of sense why they would say that I was jut being cautious cause i don't want any problems. But I will start running it and change my filter after 1000 miles and let you know what happens. And I'm running the
Xdp diesel power plus additive. Will there be any adverse effects running additives with bio?
