EGR Delete Kit Question

EGR Delete Kit Question
Looking at getting an EGR delete kit and tuner. As of now, i want the SCT SF3 tuner. The delete kit is where the question is. Ive seen one for $159 on egrdeletekit.com, and the other is from Sinister in a package with the tuner for $649. Its gonna cost more to go with the package deal and get the Sinister EGR delete, but has anyone had any experience with egrdeletekit.com? I dont want to get it from them and save a few bucks now if ill run into problems later. Thanks

Thanks guys, Ill be moving back to Arizona within the year, and after reading about emissions testing there, I dont think I am gonna do the delete. I was reading up on blocking it off but that doesnt sound reliable. I guess I will just have to keep mine clean Unless there is a delete out there that maintains the stock look. Ill read up on it. Kinda new to the diesel world.

Just my 2 cents.

No, the coolant flows through, it just stops the exhaust from flowing through.
This is another method, I just prefer to weld the cooler shut. That way in the event the cooler still ruptures, the cooler just fills up with a small amount of coolant and nothing else happens. With just the up-pipe welded, the cooler can still rupture and cause serious issues. Though the exhaust side is one part of it, clogged oil coolers can certainly lead to blown EGR coolers as well.
