Rough idle and rough ride

Default Rough idle and rough ride

This issue started yesterday drove a 40 mile round trip an my truck started having a shaky rough ride thought it may have been my tires but when I jus let it idle in park it has a roughy idle gauges all read good what could b wrong. 05 F250

Where are you located? Is it really cold where you are? Could be a number of things, we need more info about the truck though... is it stock? Blowing smoke or anything?

I live in Texas it's 72 outside the truck is stock except for an exhaust new oil cooler egr delete head gaskets arp studs all done last year

Could just be an injector failed. Have you tried getting any codes read? Could be as simple as the ICP sensor acting up too.

Not yet gonna go by autozone tomorrow an have them read the codes

How rough is rough? I broke my flex plate recently and the entire truck was shaking in park. Though, I couldn't restart it once I shut it off.

Test your FICM first, easy to rule out and causes lots of headaches. Could be any number of things, but you probably need a better scanner to pick up the codes.

How far are you from these guys: Welcome to Power Stroke Enginuities

They're VERY well versed in powerstrokes and reasonably priced as well. If nothing, they can probably read your codes for you.

It's not to rough in park but when I'm driving an take off from a dead stop it doesn't have the git up it had an it shakes while mashing in the pedal

there is a sticky at top of the 6.0 section on how to test FICM, I think it is going to be a dead injector but test the FICM first.
