Default HELP, Broke down and no boost. New EGR Delete.

First off I'd like to say im new too this forum and I appreciate the help everyone provides. I have a 2006 f250 6.0. I just did the sinister egr delete including the up-pipe. At the end when every last nut was bolted up it decided to pour coolant out the bottom of the manifold… i forgot that massive o-ring. For anyone that has to replace that you can simply keep everything bolted on and then take all the manifold bolts off, pry it up just enough and then slip the giant oring in place.

Currently my truck runs, there is 0lbs of boost and a terrible hissing noise. I checked the y pipe connections, the manifold connections and the new up-pipe. Everything is tight. The only gasket is the new sinister diesel up-pipe one and the other bolts on manifold were only loosened. The turbo has some oil inside the compressor housing, oil feed line is perfect but i do not know about the oil drain tube for the turbo.

PLEASEEE any suggestions or things i may have skipped let me know. Much appreciated.

does it seem to run allright but not showing boost on guage?? alot of time people forget to hook up the MAP sensor hose on the intake, there is a brass nipple just behind the alternator, maybe 3 or 4 inches back. the hose goes from the map sensor wich is above and to the left of turbo/on cowling/ to the manifold. With it not hooked up it sounds like an air compressor hose when you are up on the boost.
If you smell a strong exhaust odor under the hood then it is the Y-pipe connection at turbo, they can be a PITA.

Yeah probably just the MAP hose. That or did the VGT solenoid on the turbo get plugged back in? Typically first timers will always mess up the connection of the y-pipe to the turbo (from tightening everything out of order) but even then it will still make SOME boost, but it will hiss like a mother, just like you're describing. The only real way to do it is to loosen everything touching the turbo, and loosen the up-pipe to the manifolds down below, and start at that connection of the y-pipe to the turbo. It physically can't pull itself together so those faces need to be touching, THEN tighten. Then go ahead and make the rest of your exhaust connections, and lastly tighten down the turbo mounting bolts (have them started, but not tight for everything else).

Hope you find! Check that MAP hose though like Bob said.

Just wanted to say thank you for the order of tightening the pipes. It made a difference but now im running into more problems somehow. I just posted a new thread in regards to turbo noise/exhaust leak. My map sensor was also not plugged in haha. Cant believe you were both spot on. Props and thanks again.
