Default outdoor survival truck.

has anyone seen a f250 that has a roof rack, lift, tires, pull out drawers for equipment in the bed, a winch bumper w/ lights, recovery kits(shovels, gas cans, ramps, etc.) just a rig if you where in the wooded trails ***** deep in the forest you'll have some where to camp, fix things, basically a survival truck equipped. saw a guy who had a old suburban that was well equipped like this. and ive found the lights and roof rack and some other small things but thats it. any help or pictures would help. how does the roof rack mount with a sunroof?

thank you!

Local dealership has a rigged out 2008-ish F450 with a rack. Usually the racks mount in the door channel...never looked close at them.

Look up turtle expedition, I think this may be what you want! . . Was cool rig set up to reliably travel long distances in strange lands. . Seemed like a cool way to spend a big inheritance or lottery ticket!

I can't believe I didn't think of that. We have a member here from the other side of the world who has one, I wonder if he's still around? I should shoot him an email.

*EDIT* I searched for it, it was the earth roamer XV-LT or something along those lines, the member is howell_JD

Here's what they look like:

I have thought about this to. But I wanted to take an old military deuce and bob it. Then build a camper body on the back! It could be the broke mans expedition rig... Like a uni mog... For the man without 20k to buy one.
