Default 2004 6.0 Powerstroke crank no start

I have a 2004 f-250 6.0 4x4, was driving and loss power then quit, we have changed both fule filters, drainded fule, and it would start after turning over many times but would not advance above 1000 rpm. tested the ficm and was getting 47.8 volts with key on engine off. 45.6 volts with engine running. So I took it to the ford dealer and put two new battires on it (one did check bad) and ford said it had a bad FICM. I sent the FICM out and had it repaired, put it back on the truck and it does the same thing. I took the repaired FMIC off and put it on my Brothers 2004 6.0 f350 and it preforms great. I tested the FICM that was on his truck and got 48 volts key on engine off and 47.8 engine running. My repaired FIMC
tested the same on his truck so I have ruled out the FIMC. I have two bad injectors #5 & #6 they have made the truck miss over a year and Ford also said they were bad.

Why will the truck not start except with starting fulid? I have a set of injectors for the truck and will also do an egr delete when I install them. I just want to know if there is any other problems before I tare it down and put it back together and then find out it is to do again.

Thanks for your help!

When I had 2 bad injectors it would take forever to get my truck started in the cold. If you are going to pull the intake to do the EGR delete then do yourself a favor and rebuild the oil cooler, if you don't have a coolant filter/which all 6.0s should have/ then the oil cooler is clogged or nearly clogged. The part that concerns me is you say it quit while driving, that is kind of a tell tail that it could be the HPOP, If you are saving money by doing all the work your self then it might be a great idea to get the Auto Enginuity program for your computer, it will save you in the long run

A FICM that tests good voltages is not ALWAYS really good... though it's uncommon, it can read appropriate voltages and still be bad. Why not try your buddy's good working FICM on your truck?

Bob is right, it's most likely your injectors though. I'd replace those two, and do all of the injector o-rings on the injectors.
