Default 6.0 problem

Have a 2004 f350 with early 6.0. Have a high pressure leak some where. Have checked everywhere have replaced everything but the rails. Now for the question can the rails have a leak in them?
Pulled the cover off the driver side and took the pipe off the stand pipe and put pressure on it and it leaks down, you can hear a leak sounds like two. The injectors will not let air pass will they?
If the injectors were leaking will it show up on the ae? I get no codes when it is running

Thanks

If you have it narrowed down to one rail thenit can only be a couple things.
I assume you have the "Log" rail being the early style.
It could be an oring on top of the injector, before you had to buy the whole injector but now you can get the lit off ebay for about $10 that has the oil supply oring for the injectors too.
The next thing it could be but does not happen as often is it could be the oring on the nippe on the bottom of the rail. There is a guy on ebay that sells the special tool and orings for it, a little pricey but not too bad. Talking about the nipple that actually sits down into the top of the injector, it can swivel.
Had a buddy of mine replaced everything and still had a leak until he found out about the nipple leaking.

Wow, what an insightful post. Spend $10k on an engine swap because you have a failed o-ring and are too lazy to look for it. Seems legit.
