The pipe you see under the driver side behind the turbo is the y pipe. You have to take the clamp off of it but be careful because you can crack it and it's not cheap. You should loosen the up pipe before you take it off. And the three bolts are on the turbo pedestal two on the front and one on the back, that's how it is on my 05 anyways.

Looks like they have the ICP sensor for $105 (list is $158) and the pigtail is $55 (list is $83).

No, don't try cleaning the old one, they get damaged internally from being soaked in oil, get the new one and save yourself the headache.

As for the turbo mount bolts on your 03 they should all be horizontal to the ground. Two in front, one in back.

The large diameter pipe coming off the turbo and going down behind the motor is the downpipe, it feeds your exhaust. The smaller diameter piping coming up on the drivers side is your up-pipe/y-pipe connection. The exhaust manifolds feed into these pipes and into the turbo to drive the turbo, the exhaust spins the turbo and exits down the down pipe out your exhaust. On the intake side, air is fed in from the intake filter assembly, compressed in the turbo housing, then sent out the intercooler pipe on the passenger side, heading into the intercooler, where it's cooled/compressed and then exits the intercooler on the drivers side, and fed into the intake elbow and into the intake manifold and then into the heads. Make sense?

Riffraff has AE, and KT performance has been very good to deal with for me personally. The price is likely the same everywhere you go, so stick with a sponsor to help support them anyways. I went with KT Performance. They send you a whole bunch of goodies in the box too

would somebody possibly be able to post pics of these 3 bolts? i understand theres 2 in front 1 in back but im not 100% sure which bolts exaclty are the right ones. there seems to be quite a few bolts around it . this truck is such a pain to work on, of all the vehicles ive worked on this one is hardest to get to stuff. so far nothing ive done to it was easy to access. also i noticed im missing a few manifold bolts. not sure why or how but i need to replace them, i doubt thats causing any major problems though.. for the low mileage on this truck it seems to be just falling apart.

Did you remove the oil feed and return lines for the turbo? That is the only things I haven't seen mentioned yet.

They're small bolts too, I think they're 8 or 10mm, god I can't remember for the life of me.

Try youtube, I bet there's some good vids on there.

The first thing to do is to pop out the plastic clips that hold the wiring harness above the turbo, it really helps to unbolt the degass bottle and pull it forward toward the drivers side to get it out of the way, then you can take the harness and pull it over the mount for degass bottle so you gain clearance over the turbo. We use a couple tywraps to hold the harness up toward the winshield wiper. There are 3 10mm bolts to remove, the first is on pass side, right below that bump on the turbo, the bolt goes from front to back, just look at the cast iron part of turbo and see where it bolts to the cast iron pedestal-you are only undoing the turbo to pedestal bolts. the second in on drivers side about the same location but a little bit back from center, the 3rd is harder to find, it too is on drivers side but it is right behind where the ypipe clamp is, you have to put your hand back there to feel it, I will see if I can dig up a video for ya. then you have to remove the 2 10mm bolts that hold the turbo feed line on top of turbo and then use a 8mm socket with long extention to remove the turbo feed line from the oil cooler base, be carefull when you remove from top of turbo and you might be able to save the gasket, also be carefull when you reinstall the 8mm bolt-don't over tighten it, just snug it. after you get all the bolts out you can use a small prybar on pass side to pop the turbo out of the pedestal, don't force it ,it should move fairly easy, then you have to lift turbo straight up a little to let the turbo drain fall out of the bottom then you can kind of roll it out toward the front-pass side.

this is the pedestal, you can see the 3 bolt locations on it, once the turbo is out it is just a V8 engine under it.

Okay I pulled the turbo and unplugged the icp sensor wires but left the sensor in and tried to start it, and not only is it still not starting but it doesn't sound like it even wants to start anymore. I put the turbo back in but didn't connect any of the pipes or anything only the oil feed on top cuz I forgot about that and when I tried to start it oil was pouring out of it . Been a long night. What's next ? Did I do the icp thing right when I unplugged the connector and tried to start it?

yup, did it right... I know it an 03 and it might have the butterfly valve under the intake elbo, if that is stuck closed then it won't fire,,even with either because it will shut off the whole intake,worth taking a look.
