no it did not have any coolent in it at all. i have looked on the internet and it seems that a few people have had this problem with 6.0. th freeze plugs out of the heads it looks like that is what happened to the truck to begin with. it has been sitting for a year. the freeze plug holes in the heads are rusted, they look likr they have been blown out.

I'm on tons of forums and have never read about freeze plugs popping out.
200k on a stock bottom end is not really something I'd worry about. There's guys putting down way more power than any of us through a stock bottom end.
I'm leary of those "rebuilt" engines, most I see are using black onyx gaskets still which is a time bomb waiting to happen.

I bought a bunch of 07 6.0 parts including good heads that have already been checked going to get valve seats and valve job. I have to take the motor out to fix the freeze plug do you think i should do a rering kit on the block? Think I will try the 6.0 withe arp head stud and a new oem gasket kit, new hpop new oil cooler and maybe reman injectors. what type of tuner can i put on the truck so i can keep track of the engine not worried about power the truck is just going to be used for daily driver
