03-07 6.0L truck prices
The market is saturated with these trucks right now. I've seen two low mile 07 king ranch's like mine CCLB/CCSB for under 14K. In 09 i paid over 25K for my 06.
A friend of mine is selling his 07 CCSB harley with 90K on it. He's asking 19K for it and said he would let it go for 16K.
These trucks are the best bang for the buck as of late. Even having to fix the 6.0L, it sure beats dropping the 50+K on a new one. And of course, a cummins swap is all the better.
I'm thinking of selling my king ranch cummins and building a 6 speed cummins Harley.

Fuel prices are high along with unemployment. In 09 the 6.0 was just starting to get a bad reputation, most repairs had been done under warranty, so people were not pissed off and bad mouthing them. Now, nobody with a 6.0 is under warranty unless they purchased an extended warranty so people are leery of repair costs.
Gotta be careful with the low priced ones. I looked at an 03 or 04 with 150K miles for $10,000. It had an unexplained (and undisclosed) check engine light, three different types of tire on two different types of rims, and the spare tire carrier had been cut away.
Later,
Keith

I bought a 04 King Ranch with 65,000 on it for 15,900 this summer. At this price I went ahead and put in the studs, bolts, new coolers, head gaskets and blue spring. Only time will tell, but I think I got a good one. I've towed a trailer a few thousand miles and its the best TV I've had. I couldn't have afforded the new ones at $50-60K

I'm trying to keep it on the DL haha. I'm hoping to pick up a RC/LB 6.0 that needs some work on the cheap. I want a simple truck I can convert to a short bed and go terrorize the local ricers with. 4x4 or 2x4, don't really care. I love that these trucks are dirt cheap now, makes it much easier to justify doing the "bulletproofing" up front.

I love mine, my favorite truck by far! I haven't owned anything but cummins before this! All my cummins trucks needed $5k ish to "bulletproof" the trans, what's the difference if u spend that bulletproofing the engine and not having to touch the trans? To me all these newer trucks have there own set of issues. I don't care what people say about the 6.0 I love mine and won't be getting rid of it anytime soon! o and p.s I am not hating on cummins I loved all mine. Just like e ford better
