I recently had my number 2 injector replaced because it had an electrical problem and try also replaced my y pipe because it was cracked all under warranty. When I got the truck back from the shop it had a little puking on the degas bottle but I figured it was from there testing because it was only a few spots, not too much at all. And I haven't noticed anymore piling out since and I've drove about a thousand miles. But my coolant level was down about two inches below the min line on the sticker today after driving home and I could hear air escaping from the cap on the degas bottle. But no puking, and I haven't had any problems with the truck, everything runs great and it's not overheating at all. And there's no coolant in my oil. I was going to look under my egr valve block off plate to check the intake but have to be at work soon and have no time. Any help would be appreciated.

Well I just checked my intake manifold to make sure, and it appears to have oil in my intake under where te egr valve goes... There is no smoke coming from my exhaust or anywhere, no smell of coolant or anything abnormal and no loss of power.

No one has any idea what it could be?

I don't know enough to help... only thing I have read here that may apply is that coolant mixed with soot can look like oil, so perhaps a coolant leak mixing with soot from the EGR cooler rather than oil in your intake.

Thank you for the help. I was beginning to think that too, but I didn't take into consideration that my truck was hot when I checked the coolant and once it cooled down I checked it and it was just above the min line. So I don't have coolant leaking. Maybe it's condensation? I'm not sure really but it didn't smell like coolant at all and I have the same amount of coolant I did the last time I checked.
