There's a kit floating around on the net. Tain't cheap though, I think like $1900 including mirrors, wiring, switches, etc

i have been researching the same exact thing. from the best of my knowlege they do blot up. the wiring on the other hand, they are not the same wiring diagram. do you would have to figure that one out, or im sure there is a diagram floating around somewhere on google. the only other thing that you would have to work around is the power teloscoping power folding.

what i was planning on doing is just running a time delay relay off of something like the security light and use that to have then automaticly fold and teloscope as soon as the truck turns off.

but then again i am a aircraft electritian so i know all these fun things you can do

LOL, as a Navy electonics technician (nuclear) I amazed my friends when they saw that my aftermarket gauge lights varied in brightness with my stock instrumentation lights on the first car I modified... they all just hooked them to a switched 12V source instead of going through the stock lighting and dimmer setup.

I did the same with mine...double dimmer (independent dimmer for the gauges alone also wired into the truck's stock dimmer)

The easiest way I would do some '08 mirrors are to use the power/heated ones. The power fold/telescopic is just too much to deal with. A wiring schematic would be best to help. Take apart the old connector, take apart the new connector. Place the new mirror wires in the old connector using the same layout. I.E> mirror heat Pin 1, power tilt Pin 2, ground Pin 3...etc etc. The OEM connectors come apart easily to fix broken pins. I hate to cut-n-splice.....

All I wanted is the heated mirror with running lights I don't need power folding or telescoping. That is just a waste in my opinion.
