Up 2005 F250 Started Missing Any Ideas or Help???

Hi, recently did what others have called a no no, but anyhow this is my first diesel truck and I'm learning the hard way why this isn't a truck to learn with . It had 99k when I bought it, had an egr delete already and at 122k HPOP failed and it was replaced as well as inj. o-rings, IPR valve, fuel filters and ficm. Now its at 153k and I went a little over 10k on my last oil change and was running delvac with one quart of Lucas. Some say no Lucas others say yes, who knows.

Truck was running fine before the oil change is all I know, I did however again use Lucas but this time motorcraft 15w40 and did 3 quarts of the Lucas per its 1 to every 4 quarts instructions and still was running fine the next couple times after that which I drove it. Then after sitting 2 days I started it up one morning and it had a miss. Per a mechanics recommendations I dumped the new oil and changed filters and used rotella 5w40 synthetic. Now it will miss sometimes and not others and last night it started acting like my mustang did when its TPS sensor went bad by totally dropping out like it was going to die for a split second but then keeps running.

Have heard all kinds of things about wiring harness problems to stiction to just a bad injector period maybe. If there is anyone here from the st louis area who wouldn't mind running a scan that can check my injectors to let me know if one is bad for sure or if not what is possibly going on id appreciate it much and would then be able to identify the problem. Will try the rev-x in the meantime but I honestly think its more than stiction. Thanks for taking your time to read this diesel and forum newbies post.

If it is stictin then it will go away when it is up to temp, a dying injector will drop out every now and then and most likely be smokey at idle and it will start to die out more and more untill it misses all the time. Also test your FICM, there is a good writup on it at top of the 6.0 section.

Take it to auto zone and have them scan it, and right down the codes. You can look them up after the fact. Auto zone scanner may not show all codes, but if you havn't tried them yet, it is a good first step. I passed on buying a truck because it had a check engine light. I went to auto zone got the codes and looked them up on the net using my phone.
