Can anyone tell me what years transmissions are interchangeable with my 04 powerstoke its 4x4 f350 without pto build date is 12/03 ive had realy mixed results with this question thanks for any help

 

I think that there was a change in converter bolts, but IIRC, that was 6.4L. Point is, I think all of the 5R110s are the same as far as your question goes. I don't know what year my rebuilt unit is, but it works great.

 

Thats what i thought but ive been told only 03 -04 and also 03-07 i started thinking maybe the electrical connections could be different

 

I think there were some small changes, but they'll all work. 2x4 and 4x4 are the same as well, just have to swap the little tail piece out.
