So I just got a new 06 with the 6.0 and the guy before had a bully dog power pup with it. So I plugged it in and did the performance mode just to try it out but was just going to go back to fords stock settings after. I followed all the instructions to return to stock and it says it changed it but then when i plug it back in it continues to say it has the performance mode installed. Please help! Thanks

 

Turn it back to stock on the programmer. Once its done take the grounds off your batteries and try it again. Could jut be a crappy bully dog is messed up.

 

so your just saying take the ground wires off where there grounded and leave them off and then try the bully again?

 

No. pretty you will basically be pulling the batteries kind of like resetting the computer.

Id call their tech support. Don't know anything about bully dogs. Ditch it and get a SCT.

Not the first time I've heard of a bullydog unit corrupting a Ford stock file... I would definitely call up BullyDog.
