Injectors

Injectors
Alright so when I'm driving down the road sometimes at about half throttle something is going on in the motor and it makes the truck bounce but once I give it more gas or lay off it stops. I'm pretty sure I need injectors. It has 143xxx miles on it and I have an extended warranty from ford until 144000. Do y'all think that injectors would be covered by the warranty? Cause I know that this is usually when injectors will start needing to be replaced anyways

There is no set time as to when an injector will "need replacing" I know guys with 2x the miles of you on original injectors. I also know people that didn't make it to 1/2 the miles you're at and needed some too.
What oil are you using and what oil filter are you using?
Try a couple of bottles of rev-x before you spend the money on injectors.
In my experience with warrantying sticky injectors, Ford is going to deny anything is wrong with them. The issue is usually once they're warmed up it goes away. Add to that, it's tricky to catch on a cylinder contribution test, which is what they're going to do to inspect them. They'll more than likely just string you along and tell you there's nothing wrong right until warranty runs out, then all of a sudden they're going to want to replace a bunch of them.
It also wouldn't hurt to have your batteries load tested and your FICM tested as well, the test procedure can be found at the top of the 6.0 page. Welcome to DB!

It does go away when it's warm, and I'm only going to get it done because with the warranty it will only cost $100 for new ones. But if they won't then I'm going to try the rev x. But I'm not sure on oil or filter because I just let ford do it so that they still accept my warranty. And I have brand new batteries and just had my ficm checked an it's healthy. But thanks for the help!

Sounds good. I know, I went through all of the warranty battles too, what a waste of my life. I had one injector so bad that on stock tuning it would blow blue smoke out the exhaust under WOT. They still never replaced it. They kept my truck for a month once when I brought it in for sticky injectors, and all they did was clean my EGR valve and still had the audacity to charge me the $100 warranty deductible.
Buy the rev-x and save yourself the headache. If it's REALLY bad, it'll still show up.

I dropped it off last night and they Are checking it this morning. If they don't warranty it I'm gonna be pissed. But they don't really care anyways, they will lose me, my friends and family as customers cause I am in school to be a diesel mechanic right now and can do this all myself anyways. I'll most likely just order some rev - x. Thanks for the help again!

Got a call today from the dealership, one injector is gone but the rest are fine and they are covering it. They are also hooking my y pipe up correctly from when I did my egr delete and didn't put it back on properly
