'05 6.0 died, cranks but wont start

Well, i got the pump cover off. Has an STC fitting on the pump, bench tested the IPR with 12v, i hear and feel nothing while doing this. Could this be my problem? Could this cause 0psi at 15% IPR, if it is at 15% when dead that is... Or does it still need to be energized and working for it to close to 15%?

Thanks for that fitting size info also.

Anyone?

Its at 15 key on and jumps straight up to 85 when cranking.
---AutoMerged DoublePost---
I got a reading of 59 during first second of cranking after reinstallation of the IPR. But that was it. I still had the ICP sensor unplugged during first crank though, reconnected the ICP, and i get the jump from 15 to 85
---AutoMerged DoublePost---
Checked with multiple cranks, same thing every time, 15 to 85
---AutoMerged DoublePost---
Soooo? Failed IPR? And if so, ive crankedthe truck with the ICP and IPR removed and have only a very minute amount of oil evacuating through those 2 ports...

The IPR is a solenoid, apply 12volts tom and it and you should feel it click, if it doesn't change the leads around, I forget which is possative and neg. Yes a dead IPR will keep it from running. Just wondering how long you cranked it after changing the fitting, it takes alot of cranking to get the air out of it.

Disregaurd the last line there,I thought you already changed the STC fitting.
Do you have low pressure oil? does the guage the dash move when you are cranking it? you can pull the oil filter cap off then put just the filter in and have someone hold it down and crank the engine to see if you are getting low pressure oil, might be the whole problem because if you don't have low/engine/ oil pressure it won't be able to supply the HPOP.

Took the screen off of the IPR and found a small piece of the screen wedged down in there, making it stick open i think, because a had to depress the regulator to get the piece of screen loosened. But i think my IPR is no longer working. My truck still has a STC type fitting on the pump, a vey small amount of very fine metal shavings/particles. Normal wear i think, considerin its probably got all of the 112,000 miles on that one screen

I have low oil pressure, dead center of the guage when cranking, also had it flowin out of the turbo supply port and filled the housing with no problem.

So the hpop should have a good supply. And i did that to my IPR multiple times, even after removing that piece of screen. No clicking or vibration, nor can i physically see it move inside when applying voltage.
