2006 6.0 f350 sd 290,000 miles
Husband was driving down the road running smoothly when all of sudden there was loud pop sound (like hose blew off turbo) he lost turbo pressure/power. He finally got pulled off side of road and it was blowing white smoke and a small amount came out of air filter. He checked the hoses and none of them had blown off. It has a metal to metal rubbing sound, coming either from behind turbo around exhaust or torc converter. It still pulled smoothly when he was trying to get off road. Ford mechanic said he lost his turbo. Anyone know anything else?

On my 06 F350 I had a very similar situation. Entering the interstate pulling a trailer and flooring it to merge. Sounded like a tire blew. - lost power and made it over to the shoulder. Limped it the 100 miles home to my sisters house. The lower intercooler hose (blue) on the passenger side blew. It DID NOT come off - instead it split on the bottom where it could not be seen.
I was new to diesels at the time and had no idea what it was. A buddy of mine figured it out.

Like bkmac said, check the intercooler boots over really well.
The P1102 is a MAF correlation issue, and the P0069 is barometric pressure correlation issue, definitely sounds like you popped a boot. Take ALL of the boots completely off the truck and inspect them. Another common area on the 05+ is the plastic intercooler piping on the drivers side, mine split open on me too. You can buy the 03/04 metal pipe from Ford for about $100 with all new boots for that side and clamps.
