Auxiliary driving lights
#3
I'm not sure exactly how our trucks work but I had an 05 jeep wrangler that I had a mod for this all it amounted to was pulling the relay out and bending one of the prongs where it didn't make contact and plug the relay back in. After doing this the fog or aux lights worked just like normal except they didn't go off when I changed to my high beams it was one of the best mods I did. I can't remember which number on the relay was needed to be bent but ill try and look it up and post back.

Just seen on the org where for these trucks there is a wire behind the fuse panel in cab that must be cut and grounded but it only list for 05 and previous not sure if it would work on 06 or 07 if someone else knows please chime in. The wire they used was green with black tracer but I have no idea if its the same on all years or anything so please don't take my word for it.

When I did this on my truck I just bought a kit with a relay and spliced the trigger wire into the high beam wire in the headlight socket so they come on with the high beams. Im not sure about how well this would work for a ford.. but this is what I did and been working for awhile now and love em.. Plus its illegal not to have lights come on with high beams if you use them on highways..
