just curious as to what the difference is between the f250 and f350 as far as capabilitys and running gear. i have the 04 f250 and my dad has a 06 f350 and he said they are the same running gear wise. is this true? i noticed on my truck that it has the same number and thickness of leafs his truck does and my truck has an overload spring and his doesnt. as for the rear axle they look vertually the same

Typically the only difference you'll see is the size of the block in the rear under the leafs. Some trucks have different springs though depending on what package they come with (ie plow prep package would have taller/stiffer springs, and 4x4 offroad package etc) but you can basically get the same options on either one. They use all the same running gear etc though.
